Serve 2
Ingredients you will need
150g beef, thinly sliced
100g dried glass noodles
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp light soy sauce
spring onion/corianders, to garnish (optional)
Marinade for beef
1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
1 1/2 tsp light soy sauce
3 tsp water
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp cooking oil
Instruction
Marinade the beef and allow it to sit for 15 mins in fridge*.
Cook the glass noodles in boiling water for 2 mins or until it turns half transparent, then drain the water.
Heat a frying pan/wok over high heat with 1 tsp oil, add the beef then stir fry until the surface is slightly browned.
Add the glass noodles, dark soy sauce and light soy sauce.
Stir fry for another 1-2 mins until the noodles are tender and transparent.
Garnish with spring onion/corianders, serve hot.

*Note: It is better for the beef to sit for 15-30 mins in the fridge after coated with the marinades, as this would allow time for the beef to absorb the liquid marinade and the flavours .
